How sustainable is the packaging and what are you sourcing?

Every crate ships in a recycled, recyclable corrugated box — no plastic film, no foam peanuts, no glossy inserts. The keepsakes inside are sourced from independent makers we visit once a year; the printed maps and itineraries run on FSC-certified paper with soy ink. We publish a sourcing note with each shipment so you can trace the makers back to their workshops.

What is your return and cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Pause or cancel any time from your account — no email gauntlet, no win-back call. Unopened crates can be returned for a full refund within 30 days; opened crates can be returned for store credit. Gift crates follow the same window starting from the recipient&rsquo;s delivery date. We refund the original payment method within five business days of the crate arriving back at our studio.

When will a gift arrive, and can I pick the delivery date?

Accepted Answer

Gifts ship within two business days of purchase and arrive 3–5 business days later, anywhere we ship. At checkout you can pin a specific delivery date up to 60 days out — we hold the sealed crate at our studio and dispatch it so it lands on the morning you chose. You also get a printable or emailable redemption code as a backup, in case the timing shifts.

What's actually inside a sealed Flintcrate?

Each crate centers on one shape of surprise — a weekend-getaway itinerary, a themed date-night kit, a virtual-adventure bundle, or an off-the-radar city crate. Inside you will find a printed map or zine, two or three hand-picked objects from independent makers, a reservations list, and a hand-written editor&rsquo;s note. Nothing is filler; every item is something our editors would put on their own shelves at home.

Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?

We currently ship across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the EU, with free domestic shipping on monthly and quarterly plans. Domestic orders arrive in 3–5 business days; international orders in 7–12. Tracking links go out by email the morning after dispatch, and you can reroute a shipment from your account until it reaches the regional carrier.
